Integrate Channel Providers

Twilio SMS Provider Integration

Connect Twilio Programmable SMS for global SMS delivery. Credentials are verified live against the Twilio Accounts API. For India: no DLT required. For US: A2P 10DLC TCR registration needed.

1. Select SMS Gateway Provider in Integrations Console

Log in to HubNest Console → Integrations at https://app.hubnest.io/developer/integrations. Filter by SMS channel. Find Twilio SMS Gateway, MSG91, Gupshup, or Kaleyra, then click CONNECT.

Credential Security
All provider tokens (Twilio Auth Tokens, MSG91 Authkeys) are AES-256 encrypted before being stored in the database.

2. Select Routing Mode (Master Account vs Custom API Key)

Choose your billing & routing preference in the popup modal:

  • Use HubNest Master Account: Route instantly via HubNest central telecom contracts with prepaid wallet billing.
  • Manual Integration (Custom API Key): Directly connect your own provider Account SID and Auth Token.

3. Enter Twilio Credentials & Priority Rank

Fill in your Twilio Account SID (AC...), Auth Token, Sender From Phone Number (+1234567890), and Failover Priority Rank (1 - Primary Routing Target). Click Test Connection then Save Config.

Live Connection Verification
When sandbox mode is off, HubNest makes a live GET API request to Twilio Accounts API to verify your Account SID and Auth Token.

4. Monitor Live SMS Telephony Telemetry & Carrier SLA

Open Channels → SMS Gateway to view live dispatch metrics, Carrier Success Rate (100.0%), Link Click Rate (8.2%), outbound traffic line charts, and interactive delivery donut share.

  • Tracks Total SMS Dispatch, Successful Delivery, and Delivery Failures.
  • Carrier Success Rate target >= 98%.
  • Connected to Live Gateway status badge.

5. Individual SMS Message Composer & DLT Template Binding

Click "Individual Send" tab. Enter Target Contact phone number (e.g. 9696232482), select Sender ID (HNESTG), and enter registered 19-digit DLT Template ID for TRAI India compliance. Type your message body or select a template.

TRAI DLT Compliance Warning
Indian cell carriers require a registered 19-digit DLT Template ID to allow SMS delivery. MSG91 and Indian telecom gateways will fail without it.

6. Individual SMS Live Channel Preview & Dispatch

Review the Live Channel Preview on the right sidebar showing Sender ID (HNESTG) and character segment limits (160 chars = 1 segment). Select "Send Now" and click "Send Message" to dispatch.

Prepaid Wallet Billing
Individual SMS dispatches deduct ₹0.2 per SMS segment directly from your prepaid wallet balance.

7. Bulk SMS Campaigns Dashboard & Dispatched History

Go to Channels → SMS → Bulk Campaigns tab. Review past dispatched campaigns (e.g. Bulk_test, hiou, uphills) with delivered/failed counts (5 Delivered / 0 Failed), completed status, and VIEW REPORT actions. Click "+ Create Bulk SMS Campaign" to launch the campaign wizard.

Daily SMS Quota Caps
Unverified business accounts are capped at 250 messages/day. Complete Business Verification to unlock unlimited SMS throughput.

8. Campaign Wizard Step 1: Upload Recipient CSV & Campaign Name

In Step 1 of the Campaign Wizard: Enter your campaign name (e.g. Testing_Fase-) and drag-and-drop your recipient CSV file. The preview table auto-detects contact list data (e.g. 5 Contacts: Test User 1, 2, 3, 4).

9. Campaign Wizard Step 2: Select Message Template

In Step 2 of the Campaign Wizard: Select your registered message template card (e.g. __product_launch__feature_announcement - MARKETING). Click Next > to proceed.

11. Campaign Wizard Step 4: Schedule Dispatch

In Step 4 of the Campaign Wizard: Choose execution timing mode — "Send Now" for instant broadcast queueing or "Schedule for Later" for automated future dispatch.

12. Campaign Wizard Step 5: Review Dispatch & Send to Full List

In Step 5 of the Campaign Wizard: Review campaign settings (Outbound Queue: 5 Recipients, Template Chosen, Est. Cost: ₹1, Available Wallet: ₹49.95). Click "Send to Full List" or "Send to Test Batch (First 50 only)" to launch live broadcast.
